On March 20, Hilbert Student Veterans held a fundraiser where several Hilbert students had their beards glittered for Breast Cancer Awareness.  For as little as $5, participants could have their beards glittered or, if they did not sport a beard, make their own beard with glitter and foam paper.

Five very brave men had their beards glittered, while other students made a beard to wear. Hilbert raised over $200, and additional money was raised by other students. All the proceeds went to The Breast Cancer Network of Western New York. It was a fun sparkly time at Hilbert.
