A familiar sound is once again echoing from the HAWK Radio studios in Paczesny Hall. Play it Loud with Ethan Kenyon celebrated its second academic year of broadcasting on the airwaves of Hilbert’s online radio station.

“It’s great to be playing my music once again on HAWK radio,” says Kenyon. “The best part is when people come up to me and say, ‘wow, those are some great songs you’re playing.’”

Listeners can expect a more hard rock sound from Play it Loud. The show plays in sharp contrast to HAWK Radios other rock music show, The Rock Hour with Big Z.

“I play loud music. Artists like AC/DC, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Motley Crue,” he says when contrasting between his show and Rock Hour.

Not only are Kenyon and hard rock fans happy he is back on the air, but so is faculty advisor to the station, Dr. Don Vincent.

“We’re happy to have him and his rock expertise on our airwaves,” says Vincent. “He is a very integral part of our station staff. Hard rock was definitely missing from our lineup, and Ethan fills that void very well.”
