Plantasia is Western New York’s premier garden and landscape show known as “The Official Sponsor of Spring.” This year’s theme is Cityscapes into the Night and will take place at the Hamburg Fairgrounds from March 22–25, with a preview day on March 21, 2018. The show is open March 21 5:30 – 8:00pm (Preview Day), March 22–24, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., and March 25 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The show takes visitors to new heights with the sights and sounds of the city. There are 14 fully landscaped gardens along with more than 115 vendors. The various vendors offer plants, garden decor, grills, seeds, outdoor furniture, lighting, garden tools and everything you need to inspire your own perfect outdoor living experience. Plus, free educational seminars by experts from the show as well as activities for children.
What to expect: Theme gardens, fully landscaped, covering 15,000 square feet with blooming trees, shrubs, flowers, water gardens, patios and so much more in amazing and breathtaking spring displays. Free education seminars are offered all day, every day, given by Certified Nursery & Landscape Professionals and garden experts. Looking for kid-friendly fun? Come to The Children’s Discovery Garden hosted by the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, an activity center with play areas and educational events every day. In the Garden Market, you can shop for garden accessories and services with so much to offer you may need to come every day. Choose from a wide selection of plants, garden equipment, outdoor furniture, lighting, unique garden decor and artisanal products, everything you need to create your own perfect outdoor living experience! Stay for nightly entertainment, balloon artist and more.
Plantasia spans two buildings, The Event Center, where you will find various vendors and ask questions about your gardening and landscape needs, as well as Artisan Hall, where you will find a wide variety of unique artisans and educational organizations.
