On March 17 each year, everyone’s Irish! We celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the history of the Irish people in our country. This celebration is in observance of the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Starting as a religious feast day in the 17th century, it has evolved to an abundance of different festivals across the world celebrating the Irish culture. Parades, food, music, and dancing top off this fun-filled holiday. Oh yeah, and a whole lot of green and drinking!!
