Meet the 2017 Scribe Staff: Tristan Davis

Tristan Davis is a twenty-one-year-old Hilbert College student from Olean, New York, who lives in the residence halls and is in his junior year of college. He plans to graduate in May of 2019 with a major in criminal justice and a minor in psychology in hopes of achieving his all-time goal of being a behavioral analysis in the FBI. Meet the Scribe Staff: Corey Boice

Corey Boice, a junior at Hilbert College, participates in almost every club at school. Along with being a part of the clubs, Boice holds leadership positions in many of them. Some of the organizations he is a part of are the president of Student Government Association, president of Gaming and Anime club, treasurer for Spectrum, Campus activities board, assistant editor for Hilbert Horizons, and Phi Beta Lamba. Studying the Las Vegas Shooting: Part 1

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, at around 10 p.m., shots rang out during a Jason Aldean concert in Las Vegas. The shooter was sixty-four-year-old Steven Paddock from Mesquite, Nevada, and he was shooting from the thirty-second floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Halloween Fun for Kids

On October 15, Hilbert College worked together with all of the college’s clubs to put together a fantastic Halloween party for kids in the community. More than twenty clubs, as well as the Student Government, helped to create a fun experience for their families and the community, complete with a costume party.
